Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 19 August 2026
These terms govern your use of swissjobs.app ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is for
swissjobs.app exists to be useful to people looking for work in Switzerland. Most of it is free to use for that reason. Some features are paid, and that revenue covers running costs.
The Service is operated independently and provided on a best-effort basis. There is no service-level commitment behind it and no guaranteed response time. Please read what follows with that in mind.
2. What the Service is
swissjobs.app collects Swiss job postings and provides tools that help you apply: a CV check, a CV builder, a cover-letter generator, an interview preparation tool and an application tracker.
We are not an employer, an employment agency or a recruiter. We do not place candidates, and we take no part in any hiring decision. Job postings are collected from employers and third-party sources; we do not verify their accuracy, and a posting appearing here is not an endorsement of the employer or a representation that the role is still open.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration details. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
One person, one account. You may not share an account, resell access, or use the Service on behalf of others without our written agreement.
4. Free and paid plans
Parts of the Service are free. Paid plans and any trial period are described at the point of purchase, and payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.
A trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of the current billing period.
Where you are a consumer in the EU or EEA you have a statutory right of withdrawal. By starting to use a paid feature during that period you ask us to begin performance immediately and acknowledge that the right lapses once the service has been fully performed.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in the CVs, letters and other material you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to run the Service for you: to store your material, process it, and send it to the third-party providers listed in our Privacy Policy so the tools can work.
You confirm that you are entitled to upload what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
You can delete your documents, and your account, at any time.
6. AI-generated output
The CV check, CV builder, cover-letter generator and interview tools produce output using automated language models. That output is a suggestion, not advice, and it can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular application.
You are responsible for reviewing anything you send to an employer. We do not warrant that using the Service will result in an interview, an offer, or any outcome at all, and no score, match percentage or recommendation should be read as a prediction of a hiring decision.
7. Acceptable use
You may not scrape, bulk-download or systematically copy the job data; resell or redistribute it; attempt to circumvent access controls or rate limits; upload malicious code; upload another person's CV without their permission; or use the Service to send unsolicited messages.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we may remove content that appears unlawful.
8. Availability
The Service is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. Job data is refreshed periodically and may be out of date at any moment.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intent and gross negligence.
Otherwise, and to the fullest extent Swiss law allows, the Operator is not liable for: indirect or consequential loss; lost opportunity, lost earnings or lost employment; any hiring decision made by anyone; reliance on AI-generated output; inaccurate, outdated or removed third-party job data; or interruption, loss or corruption of data.
Where you have paid, total aggregate liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you actually paid in that period. Where the Service is used free of charge, liability is excluded so far as the law permits.
You agree to indemnify the Operator against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, from content you upload that you were not entitled to upload, or from your breach of these terms.
Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected by any of the above.
10. Changes
We may amend these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept, you may cancel.
11. Governing law
Swiss law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence are unaffected.
These terms are published in English and German. In case of discrepancy the English version governs.
