Associate Director / Sr Manager, BioPharma Business Development

The company is looking for an Associate Director or Senior Manager to join their BioPharma Business Development Team, which is part of the BioPharma Diagnostics Team. The main day-to-day responsibilities of this role include driving new customer acquisition and strategic account development across biopharma partners, collaborating with internal stakeholders to build pipeline momentum, and expanding SOPHiA GENETICS' presence across priority accounts. This will involve building and progressing opportunities with large pharmaceutical and mid-sized biopharma organisations, leading discussions across precision medicine offerings, and developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline in Salesforce. To be successful in this role, candidates should have at least 5 years of professional experience in biopharma business development, sales, or highly commercial roles supporting biopharma customers. They should also have direct experience selling into, partnering with, or otherwise engaging pharmaceutical and mid-sized biopharma organisations, as well as a strong understanding of precision medicine, genomics, translational research, diagnostic applications, or related biopharma solution areas.
