Julius Baer invites recent master's graduates to join its 18‑month Graduate Programme, designed to launch a career in wealth management. The bank focuses on delivering value beyond wealth and encourages entrepreneurial, empowered individuals to shape the future of its business. The programme comprises three rotations, including an international stint, offering practical exposure, a global network, and a solid foundation for long‑term growth. Within the COO division you will become part of the AI & ML ART (Agile Release Train), collaborating with teams that handle machine‑learning operations, embedded AI, source‑of‑wealth analytics, and the in‑house AI chatbot JAI. Your daily work will involve spotting AI‑driven opportunities, helping design and validate models that improve client experience and operational efficiency, and tackling use cases such as natural‑language processing, predictive analytics, and personalization while respecting strict banking regulations. You will work alongside ML engineers, data scientists, and business partners to turn complex requirements into production‑ready solutions, analyse large financial data sets, and take part in the full MLOps cycle, from deployment to monitoring and ongoing maintenance. Interaction with Julius Baer's technology stack and modern data infrastructure will also be a core element of the role. The programme requires a master's degree in AI, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or a closely related quantitative discipline, earned within the past twelve months and accompanied by above‑average grades. Candidates must be fluent in both English and German, be legally eligible to work in the country of application, and demonstrate a genuine passion for wealth management, a global mindset, strong interpersonal abilities, and a keen appetite for continuous learning. The environment is lean and agile, offering regular mentorship, community events, and the chance to develop expertise in cutting‑edge AI, scalable data systems, and responsible innovation. While the core requirements are mandatory, additional assets such as prior exposure to the financial sector, knowledge of banking products and markets, and proficiency in extra languages are considered advantageous. The programme promises a tailored career path, international perspective, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact from day one. What the role asks for: - Master's degree in AI, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science - Above‑average academic grades - Graduation within the last 12 months - Fluency in English - Fluency in German - Legal right to work in the host country - Passion for wealth management - Global mindset and strong interpersonal skills - Strong appetite for learning - Prior financial‑industry experience (nice‑to‑have) - Knowledge of banking products and markets (nice‑to‑have) - Additional language proficiency (nice‑to‑have)
