Delivery Coordinator (3-5 shifts/week)

With locations in Zurich, ALBA uses a 160-year-old sourdough starter, AULUS, and sources high-quality ingredients to support sustainable food systems. The Delivery Coordinator role involves managing takeout, delivery, and dispatch operations. The main responsibilities include embodying ALBA's values, handling takeout orders with precision, and ensuring the quality of service. The role also involves coordinating direct deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting cost control by avoiding waste. Additionally, the coordinator acts as a communicator between the pizzeria, guests, and delivery drivers, and engages in communication with the management team to improve operations. To excel in this role, candidates must have a radiant smile, great energy, and a proactive attitude. Previous experience in a fast-paced, takeout/delivery-focused restaurant is preferred. The ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and lead the team during busy moments is crucial. Knowledge of English and German at an advanced level is required, with Italian being an advantage. A willingness to learn and grow with Mimo-Hospitality is also essential. The Delivery Coordinator will work three to five shifts per week, from 5:15 PM to 9 PM. The role is based in Zurich, with opportunities to work in various ALBA locations, including Wiedikon, Triemli, and Kreis 6. What the role asks for: - Experience in a fast, takeout/delivery-focused restaurant (e.g. Pizzerias, Sushi chains, Burger joints) is preferred - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, stay calm under pressure and lead the team in hectic moments - Proficiency in English and German at an advanced level - Willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities and grow with Mimo-Hospitality - Italian language skills are an advantage (but not required)
