Cloud Solutions Architect

Neural Concept develops an AI‑driven platform that embeds intelligent design and simulation capabilities directly into engineering workflows. As a Cloud Solutions Architect you will act as the primary technical liaison for enterprise customers, turning the platform into a fully operational service inside their own infrastructure and complying with their security policies. Your day‑to‑day work will cover the entire deployment lifecycle: you start with architecture discussions, move through installation on managed Kubernetes clusters, whether in public clouds, on‑premises, or completely air‑gapped, and continue to steady‑state operation. You will integrate the solution with the customer's identity providers, data repositories, engineering tools, and the underlying model‑serving layer. Ongoing responsibilities include collaborating with the client's IT, security, and platform teams for assessments and architecture reviews, responding to incidents that may stem from external systems, and producing runbooks, post‑mortems and playbooks that feed back into Neural Concept's product roadmap. The role requires a solid background in large‑scale software delivery. You need at least six years of experience deploying and operating enterprise applications, with two of those years spent in environments that you did not control. Deep knowledge of Kubernetes configuration, understanding how chart values translate into manifests and why workloads may fail to start, is essential. You must also be comfortable with identity and single‑sign‑on technologies such as OIDC and SAML, as well as Linux networking, TLS, DNS, routing and certificate handling. Experience with Kubernetes storage, including persistent volumes and CSI drivers, is required, together with a track record of owning a production deployment from launch through support. Strong, professional English communication skills and a willingness to travel across Europe and align with customer working hours are also mandatory. The position is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a hybrid work model that allows roughly 20 % remote time. Travel to customer sites throughout Europe is expected.
