The Property Management Associate role is crucial for the administrative backbone of property management. The company specializes in real estate, focusing on efficient and reliable property management services. The associate supports Property Manager Specialists by handling standardized, process-driven tasks throughout the tenancy lifecycle, from move-in preparation to move-out, ensuring that contracts, registrations, and orders are accurate, complete, and timely. The main day-to-day responsibilities include administering leases, registering and deregistering tenants with authorities, preparing move-ins, processing defect reports, and triggering service orders. The role also involves preparing official initial-rent forms, keeping partner and rep data current in the Room Estate system, verifying tenant identity and solvency, and processing residence confirmations. The associate works independently within standard processes, escalating only what genuinely needs the Property Manager's attention. To excel in this role, candidates must have fluency in English, particularly in writing, to handle administration and internal communication effectively. Precision and attention to detail are essential, as contracts, registrations, and forms must be correct the first time. Process discipline, ownership, and accountability are also crucial, as the role requires following documented processes exactly and driving tasks to completion. Self-organisation and reliability are key, especially in a remote work environment. Digital fluency in the Room Estate system and standard office tools is necessary, with a focus on maintaining high data quality. Discretion in handling personal data is also required. Nice-to-have skills include a background in real-estate administration, such as a Swiss apprenticeship in real-estate management or SVIT courses. Basic knowledge of Swiss tenancy law and mandatory tenant registration processes is beneficial. Experience in a back-office or shared-service environment is also advantageous. Additionally, proficiency in German and French is a plus. The role offers a fully remote work environment, judged on output and cadence rather than desk time. Employees are provided with equipment of their choice, including a laptop, monitor, and accessories. The role is supported by documented standard processes and a Property Management Team-Lead.
