Equity Options Trader

G-20 Group is a cross‑asset trading firm based in Switzerland that operates globally in delta‑one and derivatives markets, blending the speed of a startup with institutional expertise. As an Equity Options Trader you will be tasked with managing a discretionary portfolio of equity options, working closely with other traders, quantitative researchers and developers to improve pricing models, sharpen strategies and generate strong risk‑adjusted returns. Your daily work will involve creating and fine‑tuning trading approaches focused on small‑cap stocks, dissecting market microstructure, order flow and volatility patterns to spot opportunities, and executing listed option trades while overseeing liquidity and best execution. You will also monitor and adjust portfolio Greeks, collaborate on hedging algorithms and execution tools, keep abreast of corporate actions and sector catalysts, and feed performance and risk data back into the firm’s trading infrastructure and analytics. The role requires a degree in finance, mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering or a similar discipline from a top university, a solid background in options trading, and a proven record of generating more than $2 million in annual profit for at least three years. Experience in high‑volatility assets, quantitative trading, and rapid data‑driven decision making is essential, as are strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills. Desirable experience includes proprietary or market‑making environments, automation of option execution, and proficiency with Python, Excel/VBA or SQL.
