HR Generalist

Marry Jane is a fast‑growing cannabis company that cultivates, processes and markets premium CBD flowers, oils and vaporiser pods from the continent’s largest indoor facility, a 15,000‑square‑metre site in Breitenbach, Switzerland. The firm prides itself on high‑quality, sustainable products and seeks an HR Generalist to deliver comprehensive human‑resources support for its production operations. In this position you will run the full spectrum of HR activities at the plant, from recruiting and onboarding new staff to handling employee relations, payroll and regulatory compliance. You will counsel line managers and employees on internal policies, Swiss employment legislation and best practices specific to the regulated cannabis market. Managing documentation and records in line with Swiss labour law, you will also drive initiatives that boost engagement, health, safety and overall well‑being, coordinate training programmes, and facilitate performance‑management cycles and appraisal discussions. As the primary HR contact on site, you will field all queries and resolve issues that arise. The role requires at least one year of experience acting as the sole HR professional in an agricultural, production or manufacturing setting within Switzerland, fluency in both English and German, and a solid grasp of Swiss employment law, industrial relations and workplace safety. Candidates must be capable of handling varied tasks independently and adopt a solution‑focused mindset. A diploma such as HRSE or HR Fachfrau/Fachmann is preferred, as is prior work in regulated sectors like cannabis, FMCG or pharmaceuticals. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Breitenbach, Solothurn Canton, with convenient train connections from Basel and nearby stations in Laufen and Zwingen.
