Two Professorships of Clinical Psychology - Focus on E-Mental Health

UniDistance Suisse is hiring two full‑time professors in Clinical Psychology with a focus on electronic mental‑health solutions. The open‑rank posts are located in Brig, Switzerland, and are slated to begin on 1 February 2027 or earlier by mutual agreement. The successful academics will head internationally recognised research programmes centred on digital mental‑health interventions, publish in leading journals and secure external grants. They will mentor bachelor, master and doctoral candidates, provide academic leadership, and forge collaborations at national and international levels. Teaching will be delivered in French and/or German via online and distance‑learning formats, while also shaping e‑learning strategies, contributing to faculty strategic planning and academic self‑governance. Applicants must possess a doctorate in psychology or a closely related discipline and have several years of post‑doctoral research experience in clinical psychology. Federal licensure as a psychotherapist, or an advanced stage toward it, is required. A solid record of high‑quality publications, success in obtaining competitive funding, and experience teaching at the university level are essential. Fluency in French or German and strong academic English are also mandatory. Experience with artificial‑intelligence tools or data‑privacy matters in digital health, as well as familiarity with blended or fully digital teaching, will be viewed favorably.
