Customer Success Engineer Cyber Security (Zurich, 100%)

The Customer Success Engineer Cyber Security role sits at the crossroads of engineering, customer success and sales, helping organisations defend against communication‑based threats. The company delivers a security product that protects email channels and enables customers to realise its full value throughout their lifecycle. On a daily basis you will escort new clients from onboarding through to long‑term adoption, showcasing the solution with technical demos, proofs of value and email‑attack simulations. You will keep close, trusted relationships with customers, anticipate issues early, and drive resolutions when problems arise. Acting as a bridge to the product development team, you will convey customer needs that can shape future features, while also analysing production incidents to identify and mitigate root causes. The position requires a solid technical IT foundation, ideally a degree in Computer Science or a related field, and fluency in both German and English. Candidates need at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in a customer‑facing capacity. Proficiency in basic scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript or Bash, together with hands‑on use of tools like Postman and Git, is essential. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, combined with the capacity to translate complex technical ideas for non‑technical stakeholders, are also mandatory. Additional advantages include a good grasp of how email systems (SMTP) operate, familiarity with common email attack vectors and defensive measures, experience with the Linux command line, and an understanding of networking fundamentals such as firewalls, VPNs and proxies. The role is based in Zurich, offering a hybrid work model with three days per week in the office and flexible hours, allowing you to collaborate closely with a dynamic startup team while enjoying a high degree of ownership from day one.
