Production Manager (Zürich, 100%)

Loki, based in Zürich, is looking for a Production Manager to create and scale its manufacturing operations. In this hands‑on position you will shape the processes, tools and team that turn R&D concepts into reliable robots, acting as the link between design and production. Your daily work will involve establishing the production floor, selecting equipment and defining workflows that speed up build cycles. You will schedule and oversee manufacturing, guarantee component and assembly quality, manage the supply chain and nurture supplier relationships. Close collaboration with R&D will help make the robots easier to produce, while you also set up inventory control and design quality‑assurance procedures. Building and leading the production, quality and procurement team will be a core part of the role. To succeed you need at least three years of experience in hardware manufacturing, covering production planning, assembly methods and QA testing. You must be able to impose order in a fast‑changing environment and have hands‑on experience with production or inventory software. An organized, pragmatic mindset is required, allowing you to introduce enough structure for reliability while keeping processes simple. Full ownership of the production function and the ability to work effectively with the whole company are essential, as is the skill to motivate, delegate and develop team members. Knowledge of lean manufacturing is also mandatory. Additional assets include practical experience assembling robots or similar electromechanical systems, background in procurement and supplier management, and a track record of moving products from prototype to repeatable production. You will be the first dedicated production staff member at Loki, contributing directly to the expansion of the robot fleet. The role is on‑site in Zürich, full‑time (100 %) and starts as soon as possible.
