Associate, Accounting Services

Vistra is looking for an Associate, Accounting Services to join its Zurich office. The firm helps global clients navigate complex cross‑border business issues, aiming to remove obstacles and enable progress. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the role supports a portfolio of customers across the EME region and contributes to the department's expansion. The day‑to‑day work involves maintaining client ledgers and sub‑accounts, assisting in the preparation of year‑end financial statements, and helping the team answer accounting and tax queries. You will also compile and file VAT and other tax returns, keep track of filing deadlines, and request extensions when needed. The position requires two to three years of relevant professional experience, preferably gained within a professional‑services setting. Candidates must be fluent in German and English at a B2 level, possess strong communication and teamwork abilities, and demonstrate a proactive, responsible approach to tasks.
