Business Development & Project Manager Biologics Switzerland

Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in life‑science analytics, provides testing that safeguards food, water, medicines and the environment. Within its BioPharma Product Testing division – the world’s largest GMP laboratory network for pharma, biotech and medical‑device firms – the Business Development & Project Manager Biologics Switzerland will be tasked with expanding the company’s presence across the Swiss market. The role blends sales, project coordination and strategic account growth. The incumbent will pursue new business opportunities in the biopharma and biotechnology sectors, turn leads into contracts for biologics and large‑molecule testing, and nurture long‑term relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech and CDMO clients. Daily duties include guiding prospects from first contact through proposal, negotiation and project launch, aligning internal scientific and operational teams to deliver results, and acting as the client’s champion inside Eurofins. Market trends, competitor activity and industry developments are continuously monitored, while the manager represents Eurofins at conferences and maintains accurate sales forecasts and CRM data. Candidates must hold a degree in biotechnology, life sciences, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or a related discipline and bring several years of experience in project management, business development, sales or account management within pharma, biotech, CRO, CDMO or laboratory‑service environments. A deep knowledge of biologics, large molecules, monoclonal antibodies, proteins, and cell‑ or gene‑therapy services is required, together with a proven record of acquiring new customers and driving revenue. Strong coordination, communication and negotiation skills are essential, as is fluency in German and English; French is a valuable addition. An existing network in the Swiss life‑science community and willingness to travel 20‑40 % of the time are also expected.
