The client is a worldwide asset‑management firm focused on private‑markets investments. They need a Head of Controlling and Reporting to shape and expand the controlling and reporting organisation that supports all private‑markets asset classes. In this position you will direct the reporting team’s everyday work, coordinate with other department heads and guarantee that investor, management, regulator and lender reporting duties are fulfilled. You will steer technical accounting choices, fund and investor reporting, and back new‑investment transactions as well as loan administration. The role also covers the full life‑cycle supervision of the asset portfolio, the launch of both evergreen and closed‑ended funds, and the provision of expert advice on complex accounting and operational issues. Close collaboration with senior leaders on strategic growth projects, the promotion of cross‑asset synergies, and the alignment of technology platforms with reporting needs are also key parts of the job. The ideal candidate holds a finance degree or is a qualified accountant and has a solid background in a private‑markets finance environment, especially in reporting processes. Proven capability to lead large finance teams, mentor senior staff and influence top‑level stakeholders is essential. A track record of driving transformation programmes, implementing data‑driven solutions and delivering practical, commercial outcomes to intricate technical problems is required. The role demands a willingness to relocate permanently to Switzerland. Experience within core private‑equity funds is highly valued, as is familiarity with other private‑markets strategies such as private credit, infrastructure or real estate.
