As an Analog Electronics Engineer at Destinus, you will help create the analog circuitry that converts minute physical signals into high‑precision navigation data for the company’s proprietary inertial measurement unit. Destinus builds advanced unmanned aerial vehicles for defense customers, delivering speed, accuracy and cost‑effective solutions to government agencies worldwide. Your daily work will involve designing, simulating and prototyping ultra‑low‑noise front‑end circuits such as charge‑sensitive and transimpedance amplifiers for capacitive sensors. You will develop multilayer PCB layouts that emphasize shielding, isolation, impedance control and suppression of parasitic capacitance, and you will devise methods—like active guard rings and sophisticated grounding—to prevent crosstalk between high‑voltage drives and delicate sensing paths. Selecting and qualifying high‑resolution ADCs and fast DACs, creating clock distribution networks with minimal jitter, and collaborating with mechanical, sensor and FPGA specialists to fine‑tune system performance are also key tasks. Building and debugging hardware with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and signal generators, then analysing noise sources to continuously improve the design, rounds out the role. The position requires a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in electrical engineering, physics or a related discipline, plus at least five years of experience in ultra‑low‑noise analog design. You must understand thermal EMF, leakage currents, grounding, shielding and precision measurement, be proficient in multilayer PCB layout, and have strong SPICE‑based simulation and laboratory validation skills. Experience with MEMS or inertial sensors, aerospace or defense electronics, digital interfaces such as SPI, and knowledge of FPGA or microcontroller integration are considered advantageous.
