Part-Time, German-Speaking Nanny in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne

A warm, energetic German‑speaking nanny is sought by a family living in Le Mont‑sur‑Lausanne. The household includes a four‑year‑old son and a six‑year‑old daughter who are easy‑going and have no special needs. The position is part‑time, long‑term and based in Switzerland, with a start date around 15 September 2026. Each afternoon the nanny will arrive at 15:00, speak only German with the children, and help with light household chores while preparing a simple meal. At about 16:45 the nanny will meet the children after school – a short 13‑minute walk from the home – and then provide snacks, supervise play, and organise age‑appropriate indoor and outdoor activities until the parents return. Additional duties include clearing the table, loading the dishwasher, unpacking school bags and, when agreed, occasional evening or weekend babysitting. The role requires a valid Swiss or EU passport (or Swiss work permit), fluency in German sufficient to converse exclusively in that language with the children, and prior experience caring for young children. The candidate must be willing to perform basic cooking and light household tasks; a driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory. The contract is permanent, paid at CHF 25 per hour for 20 hours a week, with the possibility of extra hours by mutual agreement.
