Robotics Evaluation Specialist - Remote

The Robotics Evaluation Specialist role is a contract position performed remotely, focused on contributing to the development of cutting‑edge artificial‑intelligence models. By providing real‑world interaction data, the specialist helps shape how future systems learn, reason and act. Day‑to‑day duties involve meticulously carrying out prescribed physical tasks on camera, then observing how the robotic platform reacts. The specialist must assess those reactions, produce organized written commentary on the accuracy of the evaluations, and record any unusual scenarios in a systematic way. Collaboration occurs asynchronously with the client’s team to fine‑tune evaluation methods, while always safeguarding data quality and confidentiality. Insights gathered are used to continuously refine the evaluation workflow. Applicants need proven hands‑on experience with robotics pipelines or comparable projects, coupled with a keen eye for subtle variations in outcomes. Strong command of English—both written and spoken—is required, ideally at a native or near‑native level. The role demands strict adherence to complex instructions, a versatile mindset for handling a variety of simple physical actions on video, and the ability to produce structured feedback reports. A stable internet connection and an appropriate home environment for video‑based tasks are also essential. Desirable background includes formal training in robotics engineering, human‑computer interaction, or automation testing, as well as familiarity with paused or historical evaluation pipelines. Prior involvement in giving evaluative feedback or participating in user‑testing cycles is considered a plus.
