The Senior Associate / Manager, Technical AI Security Expert role sits within PwC's Cybersecurity practice. You will join a cross‑border team that advises clients on protecting AI systems such as generative AI, large‑language‑model and agentic solutions, working alongside technology specialists throughout the PwC network. On a daily basis you will own the technical side of AI security engagements. This includes reviewing AI architecture, data flows, trust boundaries, identities, permissions, interfaces and logging; building threat models and abuse‑case scenarios like prompt injection, data exfiltration or model misuse; and turning identified weaknesses into concrete security requirements, control recommendations and remediation plans. You will also define testing scopes, guide specialist testing, evaluate evidence and coordinate with engineers when deeper implementation support is needed. The position requires a solid academic background and proven experience. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering or a related discipline is essential, as is several years of hands‑on cybersecurity work with a recent, demonstrable record of applying that expertise to AI environments. Fluency in English is mandatory for client interaction and internal collaboration. Additional strengths are valued. Experience in consulting or other client‑facing roles, exposure to regulated or multinational settings, and contributions to security methodologies, proposals or thought leadership are advantageous. German or French language skills, relevant professional certifications, recognized AI‑security training and familiarity with frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, OWASP LLM guidance or MITRE ATLAS are considered nice‑to‑have assets that can enhance your impact within the team.
