The Investment & Strategic Asset Management Manager will work for a well-established international company with a large asset base and complex investment landscape. The company is expanding its finance and asset management activities and needs a skilled professional to fill this role. The main tasks involve supporting the company's investment decisions and managing various projects. This includes reviewing investment proposals, challenging financial assumptions, and creating clear recommendations for senior management. The role also involves developing a comprehensive asset management approach, covering the entire lifecycle of the company's assets from initial investment to disposal. The position is flexible, with about 40% of the time dedicated to recurring investment tasks and 60% to strategic analysis and project work. To qualify, candidates must have at least seven years of relevant experience in finance, with a strong background in financial analysis, investment evaluation, and corporate finance. A solid understanding of valuation concepts, financial modeling, and investment return metrics is essential. Experience in preparing, reviewing, and challenging business cases and investment decisions is also required. The ability to work on cross-functional projects and take ownership of complex topics is crucial. Excellent English communication skills are mandatory, with German being an advantage. Nice-to-have skills include experience in an asset-intensive or capital-intensive business environment and exposure to M&A, transactions, joint ventures, or similar corporate finance topics. The role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape the scope of the responsibilities over time. The team is collaborative, and the company values a proactive and adaptable mindset.
