2027 Internship – Group Legal – Zurich

UBS is seeking a driven individual to join their 2027 Internship Program within the Group Legal function in Zurich. The company is a leading global wealth manager and universal bank in Switzerland, offering a range of financial services including asset management and investment banking. The intern will support the legal team in various tasks. These include analyzing legal issues across different areas such as banking regulation, financial services, and commercial contracts. The intern will also conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal documents and advice for business stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves understanding how technology and AI are used responsibly in legal work. To qualify, candidates must have a bachelor's or master's degree in law, completed within the last year or with at least four semesters of a bachelor's degree. A minimum GPA of 4.5 in the Swiss grading system is required. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to use AI responsibly to improve outcomes and efficiency. It is beneficial for candidates to have experience in organizing events or participating in team sports, as these activities showcase skills such as collaboration and strategic thinking. The role is based in Zurich and offers a dynamic environment with high demands and tight deadlines. The internship is paid and lasts for three months, starting in July 2027. Mentors will be provided, and there will be opportunities to interact with senior team members.
