Patent Attorney

As a Patent Attorney at Novartis in Basel you will deliver strategic patent counsel and support to the research‑and‑development units, oversee worldwide patent portfolios and work together with cross‑functional groups to foster business growth. Your daily tasks involve dissecting complex technical and legal questions, preparing and prosecuting patent filings, and devising inventive ways to safeguard the company's intellectual property. The position calls for a solid technical foundation in a life‑science field such as biology, chemistry or pharmacology, a law degree and extensive experience in patent law, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
