Project Engineer (Life Sciences)

As a Project Engineer (Life Sciences) you will join agap2, a European engineering and operational consulting group founded in 2005 that serves sectors such as pharma, biotechnology, medical devices, energy and more. In this consulting role you will support clients on‑site, applying your technical know‑how to help deliver their projects. Your daily work will cover the whole design chain for process equipment, from feasibility studies and concept design through basic and detailed design. You will draft and review user requirement specifications, process flow diagrams and piping‑and‑instrumentation diagrams, and you will organise and assist with factory‑acceptance tests, site‑acceptance tests and C&Q activities. Managing external partners, supervising deliverables and schedules, arranging meetings and liaising with internal groups such as QA, MSAT and Engineering, as well as preparing tender documents for procurement, are also part of the responsibilities. The position requires an engineering diploma in biotechnology, bioprocess, chemical engineering or a comparable discipline. You need prior experience in facility engineering or in manufacturing/C&Q, together with solid knowledge of GMP. Fluency in both English and German, written and spoken, is mandatory, as are strong written and verbal communication abilities.
