Voice Actor - German Speakers

The position is a German‑language voice performer for Alignerr, a company that builds data for artificial‑intelligence speech systems. The role involves supplying spoken material that helps advanced AI models sound more natural and human‑like, and it is offered as a remote, hourly contract with a flexible, asynchronous timetable. Day‑to‑day duties include delivering clear, expressive recordings in German based on supplied scripts and creative cues, listening to machine‑generated utterances and judging their pronunciation, tone and overall realism, and offering specific, constructive comments to improve the output. You will also examine and polish the written prompts to ensure they flow smoothly when spoken, all while managing your own schedule without direct supervision. Applicants must have a background in voice‑over work such as narration, audiobook production, dubbing or similar fields, and must speak German at a native or near‑native level. A professional‑grade microphone and a quiet recording space are required, as is the ability to produce consistent, engaging vocal performances and to notice fine details in speech quality. No prior experience with AI or technology is necessary. Desirable extras include the capacity to adopt several vocal styles, familiarity with audio‑editing programs, awareness of regional German dialects, or academic training in linguistics, communications or broadcast media.
