The Global Supply Planning Specialist role is within a company that focuses on ensuring the uninterrupted availability of products, including APIs, bulk, semi-finished, and finished goods. This includes managing an assigned portfolio with a global scope, ensuring accurate generation of requirements across supply chain nodes, and developing scenarios to prevent and resolve supply issues. The specialist is also responsible for exception management, global events management, and escalation management. Additionally, they handle order management, inventory management, and reporting, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management. They should also have at least two years of proven experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and/or Logistics. Strong communication, analytical, and quantitative skills are essential, as is the ability to work across organizational boundaries and cope with tight deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft software packages, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required, along with experience in SAP S4/Hana or similar MRP software. Nice-to-have skills include experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Qlick view. Additionally, certification in APICs (CPIM, CSCP) is preferred.
