The role of Data Privacy Analyst is focused on ensuring the protection of sensitive information within a data privacy and AI training project. The role also requires documenting any discrepancies, findings, and observations using provided tools and templates, and providing clear, actionable feedback to enhance data privacy and review quality. Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information is crucial. To excel in this role, candidates must have a strong understanding of PII, data privacy, and information protection practices. Experience in document review, quality assurance, eDiscovery, or compliance processes is essential. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle data privacy issues are also required. Additionally, candidates must be comfortable working with sensitive or confidential information and have strong analytical and written communication skills. The ability to perform repetitive and detailed spot-checks while maintaining consistent accuracy is vital. Comfort in a remote work environment is also necessary. Nice-to-have skills include a background as a Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead. Experience with legal document review, litigation support, or managed legal services is beneficial. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements, as well as experience with contract review or legal quality assurance, is also advantageous. Experience working in high-stakes environments involving sensitive data is a plus.
