The Associate Manager, Investigations, Diligence and Compliance role sits within Kroll's global risk‑and‑financial advisory practice. Kroll, a nearly century‑old leader in anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, anti‑money‑laundering and broader financial‑crime services, partners with Fortune 500 clients to help them avoid bad actors and reduce regulatory and reputational exposure. In this position you will be the primary point of contact for Swiss‑based engagements, guiding complex research projects from inception through delivery while upholding the firm's high‑quality standards. Your daily work will involve overseeing multiple assignments for Swiss clients, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and meet client expectations. You will direct junior team members, provide constructive feedback, and conduct quality reviews of due‑diligence reports to guarantee logical structure, objectivity and relevance to the client's core questions. Research will be carried out using public‑record, commercial and proprietary databases, media sources and internet tools, followed by synthesis of findings into concise, analytical reports. Resource management, including coordination of on‑the‑ground human sources, adherence to protocols, and accurate cost tracking, will also be part of your responsibilities, as will occasional support for marketing activities such as attending networking events. The position requires a solid foundation in financial‑crime, compliance, economic or political subjects, coupled with exceptional English‑language writing ability. Candidates must have a native‑level reading comprehension in at least one additional language (German, French, Arabic or Russian) and possess three to five years of experience researching and authoring English‑language reports, including relevant internships. One to two years of direct client‑relationship management is preferred, and applicants must be legally authorized to work in Switzerland without sponsorship. The role is full‑time, with the expectation that occasional extra hours or weekend work may be needed. Preferred but not mandatory qualifications include an undergraduate or graduate degree, especially in the social sciences, strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to distill information from multiple sources into clear analytical assessments. A customer‑service orientation, openness to constructive feedback, and experience working within diverse, multicultural teams are also valued, reinforcing Kroll's inclusive "One Team, One Kroll" culture. What the role asks for: - Professional knowledge of financial crime, compliance, economic, political fields - Extremely strong English‑language writing skills - Native or equivalent reading comprehension of German, French, Arabic or Russian - 3–5 years researching and writing reports in English - 1–2 years managing client relationships - Legal authorization to work in Switzerland - Nice‑to‑have: Strong attention to detail - Nice‑to‑have: Experience working with diverse teams
