IT Support Specialist

BCIC Swiss GmbH, part of Best Connect International Company, is seeking an IT Support Specialist for their Opfikon, Switzerland location. The role involves providing first- and second-level support for customer issues, working with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV problems, and maintaining timely communication on issue status and resolution. The specialist will also handle ticket updates for all reported incidents and perform installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting for Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Cisco Jabber, and Mac operating systems. Additionally, the role includes supporting and repairing printers, computer hardware, and other peripheral equipment, as well as using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation issues. The main responsibilities include providing first- and second-level support, working with vendors, and maintaining communication on issue status. The role also involves installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting various software and hardware components, as well as performing remedial repairs on equipment. Basic knowledge of the Mac operating system is required to support Apple PC users. The role requires a valid work permit in Switzerland and several years of experience in the IT field.
