German Language Expert - Remote

The role is a German Language Expert working remotely on a contract basis. The company is involved in an AI training project focused on audio transcription and linguistic annotation. The main day-to-day responsibilities include transcribing German audio while preserving meaning, tone, and context. They will also perform quality checks, provide feedback to improve guidelines, and maintain data confidentiality. The must-have requirements include native or near-native proficiency in German, strong language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, and experience in transcription, linguistics, or related fields. The expert must have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, familiarity with audio playback and transcription tools, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and manage time effectively. Nice-to-have skills include experience with linguistic annotation and metadata, previous work with AI training or data-labeling projects, the ability to work independently in a remote setting, and strong problem-solving skills.
