The Manager, Cruise Development and Execution position at MSC Cruises turns approved deployment plans into market‑ready cruise products, guiding them from concept through sale and operational hand‑over. The role sits within a global cruise line that values diverse perspectives and aims to create lasting positive impact for guests, employees and the planet. Day‑to‑day duties involve shaping itinerary concepts that match brand strategy, demand and the approved deployment schedule. You will evaluate destinations and ports across nautical, technical, regulatory, safety, environmental, commercial and cost dimensions, while factoring fuel‑saving measures, sailing‑speed feasibility, berth availability and shore‑experience capacity. The manager owns the critical path, securing approvals, confirming ports, setting up systems, preparing content, opening sales and ensuring operational acceptance. You will also run formal readiness reviews, maintain exception logs, track corrective actions, and lead post‑launch and post‑operation reviews to embed lessons learned. Coordination spans Planning, Revenue, Commercial, Marketing, Ports, Maritime, Shore Excursions, IT and Communications, with decision‑making authority over itinerary design and readiness recommendations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Tourism, Maritime Studies, Business, Operations or a related discipline. Proven expertise in itinerary construction, cruise product development, port operations, deployment or cruise‑operations is required, as is experience handling mission‑critical planning data and multi‑function implementation. Strong coordination, problem‑solving and execution discipline are essential, together with fluent English. MSC Cruises offers an inclusive environment that encourages authentic contribution and supports growth within a forward‑thinking team. The role promises exposure to end‑to‑end cruise development, strategic decision‑making and cross‑functional collaboration, all aimed at delivering profitable, guest‑focused itineraries. What the role asks for: - Degree in Tourism, Maritime Studies, Business, Operations or related field - Strong itinerary construction and cruise‑product experience - Experience managing mission‑critical planning data and multi‑function implementation - Fluent English - Capability in port assessment, itinerary costing, schedule design and launch readiness
