Head of Sales (m/f/d)

Global Clearance Solutions (GCS) is a Swiss‑based firm that creates and operates integrated technology for reducing explosive hazards. Since its founding in 2015, the company supplies mission‑ready systems and full‑service clearance for landmines, ERW and IEDs to humanitarian, military and commercial clients worldwide. The Head of Sales (m/f/d) will join the Freienbach headquarters in a senior management capacity, reporting directly to the CEO. In this role you will drive the company’s growth agenda by steering the Sales and Business Development divisions. You will assemble and lead a high‑performing team, set clear performance metrics and ensure accountability. The sales plan must be synchronized with operational capabilities and the product roadmap, while a data‑driven structure will be built to broaden GCS’s international reach. You will shape pricing and commercial models, nurture relationships with key global customers and partners, and coordinate priorities with other functions to meet market demands. The position requires a proven record of heading international B2B sales organisations in complex technical sectors, together with deep knowledge of defence, security, government and public procurement processes. Candidates must be strategic, data‑oriented and results‑focused, possessing a commercial and entrepreneurial outlook. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to align diverse stakeholders, manage complexity and execute effectively. Leadership experience with global remote teams and fluency in both German and English, spoken and written, are mandatory.
