Manufacturing Asset Specialist

PerkinElmer, a long‑standing provider of scientific solutions with a global service network, is seeking a Manufacturing Asset Specialist to work on‑site for its customer MSD in Schachen, Switzerland. The role sits within the OneSource team, which delivers laboratory‑focused services and supports a broad portfolio of analytical products aimed at improving health worldwide. The specialist will handle the review and approval of documentation linked to calibration, maintenance and repair activities, and will release assets once work is successfully completed. Daily tasks include close collaboration with internal and external Calibration and Maintenance Engineers to resolve any gaps in documentation, processing changes, deviations and corrective actions, and contributing to investigations as part of cross‑functional groups. The position also requires managing asset records in the customer’s calibration and maintenance databases, updating entries, and performing the administrative release of successful work orders. Candidates must bring three to five years of experience in a (bio‑)pharma environment, specifically in quality, validation or compliance functions, and have worked as an operator process specialist. A bachelor’s degree in life sciences, quality or a comparable field is preferred, along with solid knowledge of cGMP and validation requirements; familiarity with GMP, GLP, GDocP, pharmacopeial standards and related regulations is advantageous. Fluency in English is essential, while strong German language skills are highly valued.
