The role is a Short Term Internship at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, based in Geneva, Switzerland. To qualify for the internship, candidates must be nationals of CERN Member or Associate Member States and full-time students in a technical or administrative field. They should be at least 18 years old and remain full-time registered students throughout the internship. Proficiency in English and/or French is required. Additionally, candidates must have full insurance cover valid in the Geneva area for medical expenses, work and private accidents, and any disability arising from professional and non-professional illness and accidents. What the role asks for: - National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State. - Full-time student in a technical or administrative field. - At least 18 years of age. - Main field of study in applied physics, computing, mathematics, electricity, electronics, mechanical or civil engineering, instrumentation, materials science, radiation protection, safety and environmental protection, surveying, ultra-high vacuum, scientific communication, or administrative fields such as translation, advanced secretarial work, accounting, legal services, human resources, librarianship, logistics. - Remain a full-time registered student throughout the internship. - Good working proficiency in English and/or French.
