Brand Manager

Abbott Diabetes Care is looking for a Brand Manager to work from its Baar office, responsible for shaping and executing marketing plans that boost sales of its diabetes‑related offerings. The position sits within a global organization that values diverse teams reflecting the patients it serves. The daily work involves adapting worldwide marketing strategies to the Swiss market, creating and managing multichannel campaigns, and overseeing budgets to stay within approved limits. The role requires close collaboration with sales leadership, brand colleagues, and external agencies to design promotional activities, deliver product training, and gather market intelligence. Regular reporting of key performance indicators and analysis of results help refine spend and return on investment, while ensuring all materials follow brand guidelines and quality standards. Candidates must hold a university degree in marketing, business or a comparable field, speak German fluently, and have good command of French and English, with Italian viewed as an advantage. At least five years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical‑device sector and three years in marketing or sales, including work with creative agencies, are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet and graphic tools, basic website management (such as AEM), and elementary design skills are essential, as are strong presentation, communication and motivational abilities and a solid grasp of product, sales and competitor information. Additional assets include prior customer‑facing or sales exposure within healthcare and the capacity to negotiate with vendors and manage contracts.
