The main tasks of the Senior Process Industrialization Engineer involve overseeing the design and optimization of global manufacturing and assembly processes. This includes leading the end-to-end design of process flows and line layouts across various production setups. The role also involves acting as the Lead Make in product creation projects, ensuring that manufacturing processes are effectively represented in the core team. Additionally, the engineer will drive process industrialization, aligning product, process, and equipment requirements, and collaborating with various departments such as Supply Chain, Equipment Engineering, Quality, IT, and Operations worldwide. The engineer will also own the implementation, validation, and ramp-up of manufacturing processes, including pilot runs, and perform technical risk analyses to ensure process capability and stability. To excel in this role, candidates must have a university or technical college degree in engineering, with a strong background in device manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, and process validation methods. At least seven years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or industrialization in a global environment is required. The ability to influence and collaborate across different functions, cultures, and hierarchy levels is crucial. Candidates should possess a structured, analytical, and entrepreneurial personality with a high sense of ownership and accountability. Proficiency in English at a C2 level and German proficiency at a B2-C1 level are necessary. Nice-to-have skills include experience with continuous improvement initiatives such as automation, cost optimization, and global transfers. The role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where respect, trust, and support across departments are fostered, enabling ideas to move quickly into real-world solutions. What the role asks for: - An university or university of applied sciences degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial, production engineering) or similar. - At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering or industrialization in a global environment. - Very good English skills (C2); German skills (B2-C1) are necessary. - Strong technical knowledge in device manufacturing, manufacturing equipment and process validation methods (PFMEA, control plans). - Ability to influence and collaborate across functions, cultures and hierarchy levels. - Structured, analytical and entrepreneurial personality with high self-responsibility and sense of responsibility.
