Endress+Hauser, a family‑owned world leader in process‑automation measurement tools, seeks a Strategic Buyer Electronics Components to reinforce its worldwide procurement function. The position focuses on building durable supplier networks and guaranteeing a steady flow of electronic parts for the company’s operations. In this role you will shape category plans by analysing market data, spotting trends and risks, and aligning actions with global and regional teams. Daily tasks include cultivating relationships with internal customers, selecting and qualifying vendors, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and driving initiatives such as cost‑saving, lean, inventory and digital projects. You will also handle any supply or quality disruptions and work on sustainability targets. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in a technical, commercial or supply‑chain discipline and brings at least ten years of strategic sourcing experience, preferably within an electronics or technical setting. Strong expertise in supplier and contract management, analytical thinking, and effective negotiation in an international context are required.
