Senior Trust Officer

CAPITAL TRUSTEES AG is a regulated trustee company licensed by Finma. The Senior Trust Officer will focus on enhancing the company's presence in the global wealth management community, particularly in Latin America, with a strong emphasis on Brazil. This role involves building professional relationships with key third parties, such as lawyers, bankers, and tax advisors, who are active in the financial markets of Latin America, especially Brazil. Additionally, the officer will support the team in managing wealth planning for existing clients in these regions. The main responsibilities include increasing the company's market visibility and recognition, developing professional relationships with third parties, and supporting the team in managing wealth planning for existing clients. The role requires a qualified lawyer in Brazil with at least three years of business experience in trust and wealth planning for high net worth individuals (HNWI). Experience in a trust company or law firm specializing in private clients or single/multi-family offices is essential. The ideal candidate should be familiar with HNWI wealth planning, particularly in real estate and shipping, and with the legal aspects of private investments, real estate transactions, and corporate holdings. Knowledge of wealth planning and inheritance consultancy for sportsmen is also required. Fluency in English, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, both written and spoken, is mandatory. What the role asks for: - Qualified lawyer in Brazil - Three years of business experience in Trust and Wealth Planning for HNWI - Experience in a Trust company or Law firm specialized in private clients and/or Single/Multi-family offices - Familiarity with HNWI wealth planning, particularly with real estate and shipping - Familiarity with legal aspects of private investments, real estate transactions and corporate holdings, including drafting contracts and conducting due diligence and regulatory compliance - Familiarity with wealth planning and inheritance consultancy for sportsmen - Fluency in English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, both written and spoken - Knowledge of a fifth language (nice-to-have) - Having authored peer-reviewed publications (nice-to-have) - TEP qualification (nice-to-have)
