Sales Manager (m/f/d) - Plant Engineering for Pharma / Biopharma Industry

Bilfinger is a global industrial services firm that helps customers boost efficiency and sustainability across the process sector. Its Life Science unit designs and builds cutting‑edge plants for pharma, biopharma, semiconductor, battery and nutrition markets, operating from Europe to North America and the Middle East. As Sales Manager you will analyse and grow strategic accounts, build a robust sales pipeline through market and competitor studies, and drive order intake to meet revenue targets. You will nurture and expand relationships with customers and planners across the EU and worldwide, shape and refine sales‑and‑marketing approaches, and lead contract talks, offer creation and agreement finalisation. Regular reporting, forecasting and keeping CRM data up‑to‑date are also part of the routine. The ideal candidate brings proven experience selling plant‑engineering and piping projects, preferably within the pharma and biopharma arena, and possesses a solid network of decision‑makers in those fields. Strong presentation, negotiation and closing capabilities are essential, as are native‑level German and business‑fluent English in both spoken and written form. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, self‑motivation, a basic grasp of contract law, solid MS Office proficiency and a willingness to travel with flexible working hours. A university degree in business or engineering (e.g., University of Applied Sciences or Technical University) is advantageous but not mandatory. The position is based in Pratteln, Switzerland, with a hybrid work model that combines office presence and remote days, offering exposure to an international team and the chance to contribute to Bilfinger's market‑expansion strategy.
