Regional Senior Research Officer for East and Southeast Africa, based in Kampala (Link For Internal Applicants)

IMPACT is seeking a Regional Senior Research Officer to join its Research Quality Assurance Unit in Kampala, Uganda, which serves as the organization's multi-country hub for East and Southeast Africa. The unit is part of the Programmes, Communications and Research teams at IMPACT HQ, which aim to deliver high-impact, high-quality research programs. The Regional Senior Research Officer will be responsible for supporting the implementation of research standards, particularly for IMPACT's country operations in East and Southeast Africa. This involves providing technical guidance, peer review, and learning support to country teams, as well as implementing quality control processes to ensure compliance with established standards. The officer will also contribute to strengthening research standards through a learning-based approach, including developing and maintaining learning solutions to ensure uptake and application of the Research Toolkit.
