Senior Analyst – Actuarial Advisory, Audit & Assurance

The Senior Analyst – Actuarial Advisory, Audit & Assurance role sits within a firm that spans the whole actuarial spectrum, covering financial risk, capital management, life and non‑life insurance, as well as pensions. Based in Zurich and working between 80 % and full time, the position joins a cross‑disciplinary group that supports clients on reserving, pricing, valuations, M&A and regulatory matters, helping them navigate strategic decisions from multiple angles. Day‑to‑day you will be embedded in audit and assurance assignments for large, varied organisations, collaborating directly with clients across life, property‑casualty, financial risk and pension domains. Core tasks include delivering consulting on reserving and pricing, performing actuarial valuations, building capital and solvency models, conducting ALM and embedded‑value analyses, and providing the analytical backbone for audit engagements. You will also synthesize insights for M&A due‑diligence, apply frameworks such as IFRS 17, Solvency II, IAS 19 and ASC 715, and contribute to business development through proposals and thought‑leadership. The position requires three to six years of practical experience in at least two actuarial areas, a university degree in a quantitative field, and solid competence with data, modelling and analysis. Candidates must hold—or be committed to obtaining—an actuarial or comparable professional credential, understand how actuarial outputs affect financial statements under international and Swiss regulations, and be familiar with the Swiss insurance and pension markets while appreciating other jurisdictions.
