Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to become part of its Spine Surgery team in Geneva, New York, within the Orthopedics department. The position follows a Monday‑through‑Friday, ten‑hour shift schedule with limited on‑call duties, allowing the clinician to work across operating rooms, outpatient clinics and inpatient wards while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Daily duties involve serving as the primary surgical assistant for spine procedures and providing support in other clinical settings. The role also includes assessing both operative and non‑operative spine patients, delivering pre‑operative, post‑operative and inpatient management, ordering and interpreting imaging or other diagnostic studies, and working closely with surgeons and allied professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies, be certified as a PA‑C by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants, and possess a New York State Registered Physician Assistant license. The position requires the ability to perform medium‑level physical work, such as occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and frequent walking, standing or squatting.
