Technical Writer - Remote

The role is a Technical Writer/Editor, working remotely for a company focused on evaluating and improving advanced AI systems. The main day-to-day responsibilities involve evaluating and comparing AI-generated responses against specific writing prompts. This includes assessing clarity, tone, accuracy, coherence, helpfulness, and adherence to instructions. You will provide clear scores, rationales, and actionable feedback, and identify opportunities to improve the quality and instructional value of AI-generated content. The role requires strong editorial judgment to distinguish subtle differences in writing quality. You will maintain accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing and documenting findings, and collaborate asynchronously with project managers and reviewers. Advanced written English and critical analysis skills are essential throughout the evaluation process. The must-have requirements include native-level English fluency with excellent written communication skills, and experience in technical writing, editing, content evaluation, or a related field. A strong understanding of clarity, tone, structure, coherence, and instructional content is also necessary. Familiarity with digital content review, annotation, or evaluation platforms, and excellent attention to detail and analytical skills are required. The ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate remotely is crucial. Nice-to-have skills include experience with AI systems or model evaluation, but this is not required.
