Intellectual Property (IP) - intern - January 2027

Chanel, a world leader in luxury products, is seeking an intern for its Intellectual Property department. The IP Intern will handle various tasks, including clearance, protection, and enforcement of international trademark, design, and domain name portfolios across multiple jurisdictions. They will work on short- and long-term projects with attorneys and paralegals, conduct online research, and collate documentary evidence for legal actions. The intern will also conduct legal research, analyze results, and prepare template letters and documents. To be considered for this role, applicants must have a completed bachelor's degree in law and a strong knowledge of trademarks and designs. They should be proactive, collaborative, and flexible, with excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Advanced written English and strong reading comprehension skills are required, and knowledge of other languages is a bonus. IT proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office are also necessary. The internship is a full-time, in-person position based in Geneva, starting on January 4, 2027, and lasting six months.
