Temenos Configuration Specialist - Credit / Lending

Capco is a global technology and business consultancy that supports financial‑services clients in banking, capital markets, payments and wealth management. In this position you will join Capco's delivery team to lead the configuration of Temenos Core / Transact lending and credit modules for a major Swiss bank, translating the client's credit‑policy and operational needs into functional solutions that cover the entire loan lifecycle. Your daily work will involve setting up lending products, credit agreements, limits, pricing, fees and repayment schedules inside Temenos, and producing design workbooks and parameter specifications. You will carry out fit‑gap and impact analyses, recommend configuration‑first approaches, and work with architects and integration specialists on interfaces to credit‑origination, risk, collateral, payments and reporting systems. You will also define test scenarios, support system‑integration, user‑acceptance and regression testing, troubleshoot defects, and help with release preparation, cut‑over, hyper‑care and the creation of run‑books and support documentation. Workshops with product owners, risk, finance and other stakeholders will be a regular part of the role. The employer expects at least seven years of experience in banking technology, lending or core‑banking transformation, with a strong hands‑on background in configuration and implementation. You must have a minimum of four years of practical Temenos experience, having taken part in at least two major implementation, upgrade or transformation programmes. A solid functional understanding of the full lending lifecycle, product and facility setup, drawdown, servicing, pricing, repayment, limits, collateral and exposure management, is required, as is proven ability to configure and troubleshoot Temenos lending parameters. In addition, you need a deep grasp of credit‑limit and exposure concepts, secured and unsecured lending, collateral valuation, interest and accrual calculations, loan amendments and operational credit controls, together with working knowledge of APIs, message/file interfaces and integration with credit‑origination and risk systems. The assignment is based on a project for a leading Swiss financial institution, offering exposure to complex, end‑to‑end credit transformation work within a collaborative, agile consultancy environment.
