Professional Voice Actor - German

The position is a German‑language voice talent hired by Alignerr to help train artificial‑intelligence speech systems. The work is entirely remote and paid by the hour, allowing professionals to contribute their vocal expertise without needing any background in AI technology. Each day the contractor will capture clear, expressive German recordings using a high‑quality, large‑diaphragm microphone while following supplied scripts. In addition, the individual will listen to AI‑produced utterances, judge their naturalness, pronunciation, emotional tone and overall fidelity, and then supply concrete suggestions for improvement. Script reviews and recommendations for clearer phrasing are also part of the routine, all performed independently on a self‑determined schedule. Applicants must speak German at a native or near‑native level and possess a strong, articulate voice. Prior experience in voice‑over work such as acting, narration, audiobook reading, or dubbing is required, together with access to a quiet, acoustically treated recording space and a suitable microphone. The role calls for consistently engaging delivery and a meticulous ear for subtle variations in tone, rhythm or diction. Additional assets include a background in assessing or directing voice‑over projects, familiarity with various German regional accents, and some exposure to audio‑production or post‑production processes. An interest in speech‑technology or AI is welcomed. The job offers full flexibility, freelance autonomy, and the chance to shape how future AI systems converse with German‑speaking users worldwide, with the possibility of advancing to leadership roles as the program expands.
