Project Manager (m/w/d) Realization of AutoStore Projects Switzerland

Kardex AutoStore, a worldwide frontrunner in high‑speed automatic storage and retrieval solutions, is expanding its Swiss project management team. The vacancy is for a Project Manager who will oversee the delivery of AutoStore installations from the signing of contracts right through to final hand‑over. The daily work revolves around steering each AutoStore implementation to meet schedule, cost and client‑satisfaction targets. The manager will partner with the sales group during the bid phase, guarantee seamless hand‑overs between sales, installation and after‑sales service, nurture customer relationships, spot new business chances and manage project risks. Process improvements, negotiation of technical solutions and financial optimisation are also part of the remit, as is contributing to the creation of tools, standards and procedures that support successful project execution. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in engineering and brings solid experience in directing site or project activities for automation systems, with a proven record of completing assignments on time and within budget. Leadership of multidisciplinary teams, strict budget control and milestone tracking are essential. Excellent communication abilities in both Swiss German and English are required, as is comfort working in environments that resemble construction sites. Proficiency with AutoCAD, the Microsoft Office suite and comparable software is expected, together with a readiness to travel across the DACH region for project duties. Additional assets include familiarity with safety legislation, as well as hands‑on knowledge of AutoStore technology or PLC programming.
