Line Coach Maintenance

The Line Coach Maintenance position supports Johnson Electric Group, a worldwide supplier of electric motors, actuators and motion subsystems that serves sectors such as automotive, medical devices and robotics. The role focuses on keeping production lines running smoothly through both preventive and corrective maintenance actions. Each day the coach ensures that all technical work follows SUVA safety rules and HSE standards, while acting as the go‑to technical reference for a designated area. He or she leads complex breakdowns, conducts structured troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and implements lasting fixes. The job also involves shaping preventive and condition‑based maintenance plans, defining scopes for N1‑N3 tasks and following up on inspection outcomes. In addition, the coach mentors technicians, transfers critical knowledge and helps them become more autonomous. Applicants must hold a vocational qualification such as a BTS, Federal Diploma or equivalent in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, automation or a related discipline, and bring substantial experience with complex industrial equipment. The ability to read technical drawings, set up machines and make adjustments is essential. Candidates need fluency in French, German and/or English, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and proven competence with RCA/8D methodologies. They should thrive in a fast‑paced, pressure‑filled environment, demonstrate excellent communication, and be comfortable collaborating across functions.
