(GSD) People Tech Functional Support Specialist (Bangkok-based, relocation provided)

Agoda is looking for a People Technology Functional Support Specialist to keep its Workday platform running smoothly after the recent go‑live. Based in Bangkok with relocation support, the role sits at the intersection of HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and external vendors, ensuring the system continues to meet the company's global business needs. On a daily basis you will provide production support, investigate and resolve tickets, data mismatches, security alerts and process failures. You will maintain and update Workday configuration, from organisational changes to eligibility rules and security roles, while participating in regular releases, regression testing and documentation updates. Partnering with stakeholders, you will analyse current workflows, translate business requirements into functional designs, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives. You will also coordinate testing, manage release impact assessments, and help keep data integrity through audits, reports and compliance checks. To succeed you need a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, IT or a related field. You must have hands‑on experience supporting Workday in a post‑go‑live environment and be comfortable with at least one Workday module such as HCM, Compensation or Payroll. A solid grasp of Workday business processes, configuration concepts and tenant management is essential, as is proven ability to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues and support system enhancements. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management skills are also required. It is a plus if you have experience across both functional and technical Workday workstreams, have taken part in implementation or optimisation projects, and are familiar with EIBs, integrations, report writing, calculated fields or security configuration. Prior involvement in Workday releases and regression testing, knowledge of HR/Payroll/Finance operations, Workday certifications and experience in a global or multi‑country setting are considered nice‑to‑have attributes.
