Coris Innovation is an engineering consulting firm that specializes in systems engineering and industrial processes. The company, established in 2015, focuses on building long-term partnerships with clients and fostering a collaborative environment. With around one hundred employees across five offices in Switzerland and France, Coris Innovation supports industrial clients in innovation, Research & Development, and production. The Systems Test Engineer role involves contributing to the development, integration, and validation of next-generation airborne active antenna and phased array systems. The engineer will work on complex multidisciplinary systems that combine RF and communication chains, power and control electronics, embedded hardware/software, and mechanical subsystems. These systems are designed to operate in demanding airborne environments. The main day-to-day responsibilities include defining and implementing system verification strategies, performing functional, performance, and qualification testing, and developing automated test scripts. The engineer will also execute manual and automated test campaigns, investigate anomalies, and validate interactions between various subsystems. Additionally, the role involves ensuring traceability between system requirements and verification activities, documenting test results, and participating in technical reviews. To qualify for this role, candidates must have an MSc or equivalent degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Microtechnology, or a related engineering field. Experience in system testing, verification, and validation, as well as knowledge of RTCA DO-160 environmental qualification/testing, is required. Proficiency in RF systems, communication systems, and/or active antennas is also necessary. The role requires Swiss or EU citizenship and availability to work on-site in Lausanne from November 1st, 2026, at the latest. Nice-to-have skills include experience with phased array/electronically steered antennas and system integration involving RF, electronics, embedded software/firmware, and mechanical subsystems. Experience with automated testing and scripting is highly appreciated. The role offers the opportunity to work in an international and multidisciplinary R&D environment, with a hands-on mindset and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills being highly valued. What the role asks for: - MSc or equivalent degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Microtechnology or a related engineering field - Experience in system testing, verification & validation, integration or system engineering - Experience with airborne or avionics systems - Knowledge of RTCA DO-160 environmental qualification/testing - Swiss or EU citizenship - Availability to work on-site in Lausanne from November 1st, 2026, at the latest - Experience with phased array / electronically steered antennas (nice to have) - Experience with automated testing and scripting (nice to have)
