Sr. Manager, Kitchen Equipment, International

The Senior Manager for Kitchen Equipment, International will join Restaurant Brands International (RBI), a global quick‑service restaurant group that operates Tim Hortons, Burger King, Popeyes and Firehouse Subs in more than 120 markets. The role is responsible for overseeing equipment solutions across EMEA, APAC and Latin America & Caribbean, managing the full lifecycle of kitchen and restaurant hardware to boost operational efficiency and franchisee profitability. Reporting to the Head of International Operations, the position works on‑site five days a week and collaborates with regional leads, procurement, vendors and franchise partners. Day‑to‑day duties blend strategic planning, project oversight and hands‑on testing. The manager will shape and communicate the international equipment strategy together with regional teams, keep senior leadership and franchisees informed, and maintain the Approved Equipment List with quarterly reviews of warranties and service contracts. They will run multiple equipment projects, allocating resources, tracking timelines and delivering regular status reports, while ensuring each initiative aligns with brand goals and franchisee needs. In addition, the role conducts laboratory and field validation, using time‑and‑motion studies and performance data to confirm new equipment meets standards, and translates feedback from field teams into actionable improvements. The position requires a minimum of three years' experience in kitchen‑equipment management, restaurant operations or project management within the food‑service sector. Candidates must possess strong technical expertise in equipment design and testing, and be able to manage complex projects by leveraging data and stakeholder input. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are essential for analysis and presentation, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities are needed to address diverse audiences. A proven track record of building and sustaining relationships with vendors, franchisees and cross‑functional groups is also mandatory, as is a willingness to travel up to 25 % of the time, primarily within the EMEA region. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with data‑visualisation and process‑simulation tools, which can help streamline analysis and modelling of equipment performance.
