Internship : Robotics & Physical AI

MESH is a company focused on developing autonomous robotic systems for the construction industry. These systems automate the planning, handling, and assembly of reinforcement, turning advanced research into practical industrial products used globally. The Robotics & Physical AI Intern will work on various projects, including 3D perception, multi-sensor calibration, point cloud processing, and robotic grasping. Other tasks involve motion planning, reinforcement learning, and robot simulation using tools like Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or Gazebo. The intern will also handle data collection, annotation, and the integration of AI models with industrial robotic systems. To qualify, candidates must be pursuing a Master's or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ are essential, along with familiarity with Linux and Git. Good English communication skills are also required. Nice-to-have skills include experience with ROS, PyTorch, and 3D vision libraries like OpenCV, Open3D, or PCL. Knowledge of robot kinematics, dynamics, and motion planning is beneficial. Experience with robot simulation tools, CUDA/GPU programming, and industrial robots is also valued. Proficiency in German, Italian, or French is a plus. The internship offers the chance to work with an experienced, international team on cutting-edge technologies. The role is based in Switzerland, and applicants must be legally authorized to work there or eligible to obtain the required work authorization without employer-sponsored visa support.
